Porkka has launched what are believed to be the world’s first online configurators for cold rooms and food preparation counters. With no login requirement, users can quickly access the configurators at www.porkka.co.uk and follow the simple steps to configure a cold room or counter to their precise requirements.
The Counter Configurator includes refrigerated, heated and ambient preparation counters with choice of width, height and depth as well as worktop design (solid, refrigerated well or ice storage well) and positioning of drawers and doors.
Similarly, the Cold Room Configurator enables users to select dimensions, storage temperatures (cold room or freezer room), door width and position, wall thickness, refrigerant, floor structure and shelving. Accessories can also be added.
At the end of the selection process a PDF file is created that includes an image of the product and a detailed drawing – either of which can be easily incorporated into a proposal – as well as listing all details. A unique number is also included for requesting a quotation and ordering.
