MODE is an restaurant, bar and late night venue, the product of a collaboration between five local entrepreneurs Stevie Thomas, Jono Remington-Hobbs, brothers Oliver and Benjamin Bolton and Jolyon Klean, that has been created to equally represent food, music and contemporary art.
Food
Executive chef is Andi Oliver. The menu includes: vodka and blood orange cured salmon, chrain, mountain honey yogurt; Longhorn beef carpaccio, soused hispi greens; seared lamb fillet, lamb ribs in pomegranate molasses, kofta; quinoa burger, fries, spiced onion rings; bitter chocolate, caramel & coconut tart, coconut vanilla cream.
Music
Located at one of the area’s most historical spots for music, 12 Acklam Road, MODE will act as a platform for international signed and unsigned talent. In addition to MODE’s resident DJs and performers, every Thursday MODE Live will exclusively showcase live world music performances, each night anchored with a headline artist.
Art
Inspired by Notting Hill’s heritage and established arts scene, MODE will present a series of one-of-a-kind pieces, from world-famous street artists such as Obey Giant to Andrew Cross. The venue’s opening chapter ‘Future Vintage’ has been curated by MODE’s creative director Robin Collings (co-founder of Glastonbury’s Shangri-La).
