Having listened to its customers and aware of just how important a free Wi-Fi offering is to its guests, Jurys Inn has now announced the roll out of free Wi-Fi across its 25 UK city centre hotels following a £1.7 million investment in new software and technology upgrades.
Guests will be able to access the free Wi-Fi service in all public areas and bedrooms, for internet browsing email and messaging. Guests who book direct at www.jurysinns.com will also get complimentary access to the Jurys Inn Premium Wi-Fi service which is suitable for heavier internet usage such as streaming movies, gaming and large file downloading.
Shane Doyle, Group IT Manager, Jurys Inn, said: “In this day and age, we understand just how important it is for our guests, not only to be offered free Wi-Fi but to be able to easily access their emails or surf the web wherever they are. We are constantly looking at ways of improving our guest’s experience and we’re sure they will be delighted that they can now enjoy the benefits of a quick, high quality, free Wi-Fi at all our UK hotels.”
The new technology investment includes the upgrade of the Wi-Fi network and the roll-out of a high-speed fibre internet service across the estate. This will now cater for guest’s increased connectivity requirements as, on average, most are now travelling with up to four wireless devices.
The £1.7 million investment is set to significantly enhance the management system capabilities and services offered to the three million plus guests who stay at Jurys Inn hotels every year. The investment is part of a programme which has seen the hotel group invest over £25 million in property and services upgrades over the past three years.
