The Telegraph reports that the owners of Yo! Sushi may be joining the stream of hospitality businesses currently queuing up to be sold.
Yo! Sushi is owned by Quilvest, who paid £51 million for it in 2008 – and now hope to sell for around £120 million. It has 76 restaurants in the UK, 11 franchised overseas, and plans to open around 10 restaurants a year.
Las Iguanas
Bowmark Capital is also reported to be considering the sale of its Latin American food chain Las Iguanas for nearly £100m.
Gondola Holdings
Meanwhile, Gondola Holdings, the restaurant group behind Pizza Express, is exploring options for the sale of the business.
Owned by private equity group Cinven, the Group is thought likely is likely to sell Pizza Express separately, with its Ask and Zizzi chains then sold in a separate deal or deals.
