Stop and refuel at fmVend

By James Russell: Stop and refuel at fmVend

March 20, 2014

Targeting facility managers within business and industry, healthcare, education, leisure – and the hotels, restaurants and cafes market – fmVend will showcase new products and services while also offering valuable networking opportunities.

As 60% of workers agree they are less productive in the afternoon if lunch is skipped, vending is an invaluable asset to ensure maximum productivity in the workplace. A range of soft drinks, teas, coffees and hot chocolates not only provide a boost to employees, they provide a high street experience without even having to leave the office. With a number of sleek table top machines on the market, it creates the right impression when clients visit too.

“As one of the leading beverage suppliers in the UK and the manufacturer of Van Houten Chocolate, Barry Callebaut sees this as an excellent opportunity to showcase to the FM community the significant improvements, over the last 5 years, in both drinks and the method of delivery” said Managing Director, Peter Holdway.

“Ferrero UK is proud to be involved in the first fmVend,” said a spokesperson. “The show offers Ferrero UK a great opportunity to engage fully with the industry’s key decision makers, and with power brands such as Kinder Bueno and Tic Tac look to gain new distribution!”

Mark Lamble, Managing Director of Burts Chips is also looking forward to meeting facilities managers at the show. He said: “Burts Chips is a manufacturer of hand cooked crisps from Devon and has built up some trusted relationships with operators and wholesalers across the UK.  Burts is pleased to be working in the vending sector and will be attending fmVend to raise our profile to even more facilities managers and operators.”

Event Director Hannah Dedman said: “As a forward thinking event company, we could see that FM offered the vending industry huge growth potential, so it made complete sense for us to cater to the needs of both facility managers and vending operators along with suppliers by launching a dedicated event.”

fmVend will take place on Tuesday 20th May at Old Billingsgate, London.
