Kudos, part of the Crown Group has been awarded a four year contract to provide catering and hospitality at the Brighton Centre.
Having originally won the contact with Brighton & Hove Council in 2004 and subsequently awarded an extension, Kudos has held the contract as the preferred on-site caterer for the past 10 years.
The Brighton & Hove Council procurement team ran a formal review of all catering facilities at the Brighton Centre involving a full tender being conducted and, as part of the tender, Kudos demonstrated new cafe concepts to dynamically change the catering experience at the Brighton Centre.
This included new concepts for the conferencing, commercial and retail outlets, by drawing on the years of knowledge and understanding of the different audiences that use the venue. Kudos was also keen to show how the existing operations could evolve, adapt and grow with minimal disruption, allowing the Brighton Centre to function without detriment to services or revenue.
