Maybourne Hotel Group, London’s leading owner and operator of renowned luxury hotels Claridge’s, the Connaught and the Berkeley, has announced the appointment of Knut Wylde as Hotel Manager of Claridge’s in Mayfair.
Knut Wylde joins Claridge’s from Coworth Park the 5-star country house hotel, part of the Dorchester Collection where he held the position as Director of Operations since 2011. Prior to joining Cowarth Park, Knut spent 8 years at some of London’s most prestigious properties including The Savoy, St Pancreas Renaissance Hotel, 45 Park Lane and The Lanesborough. In addition, Knut has successfully managed a wide range of projects including the One & Only Reethi Rah in the Maldives where he was the Resident Manager, and spent five years with Rosewood Hotels and Resorts in a senior capacity at a number of properties around the globe.
As Hotel Manager at Claridge’s, Knut Wylde will be a member of the hotel’s Executive Committee, overlooking day-to-day operations and be the main point of contact to all departments across Claridge’s. Born in Germany, Wylde received his Certificate in Hotel Management at New York’s Cornell University.
