Zolfo Cooper, the leading independent provider of advisory and restructuring services, has successfully disposed of six hotels operated by Barinbrook Limited (formerly Akkeron Hotels (Admiral) Limited) – a total of 381 rooms.
Nick Cropper, Peter Holder and Anne O’Keefe, partners at Zolfo Cooper, were appointed on 26 February 2014 and managed the successful disposal.
Five leasehold hotels have been sold as a going concern to West Register (Property Investments) Limited. The hotels will be managed by Jupiter Hotels. As a result of the sale 133 jobs have been maintained at the following hotels: Quality Hotel, Bury St Edmunds (pictured above); Quality Hotel, Colchester; Quality Hotel, Peterborough; Cromwell Hotel, Stevenage; and Quality Hotel, Kings Lynn.

This follows on from the successful sale of another hotel operated by Barinbrook Limited, Himley Country Hotel, as a going concern on 28 February 2014, saving an additional 42 jobs.
