Hoshizaki was the first ice machine manufacturer in the world to introduce hydrocarbon as a refrigerant as part of its ongoing quest to provide customers with the most ecological solutions achievable. As well as having virtually zero effect on ozone depletion, hydrocarbon also has a significant effect on energy consumption, reducing it by up to 20%. Water efficiency, too, has been significantly improved and savings of up to 40% are realistic. The combined savings are potentially dramatic.
Hoshizaki is globally recognized for the crystal clear ice its machines produce. Made to an exceptionally cold -25°C, the ice remains solid for the longest possible time whether used in drinks or for display.
