Clearly, the combination of dogs and competitions generates healthy appetites, with award winning caterer Amadeus, part of the NEC Group, claiming to be ‘top dog’ last weekend at Crufts with record sales figures at its outlets across the NEC venue.
Amadeus’ Hall 4 Restaurant, Starbucks in the Piazza and the Mobile Team based in the Pavilion link all had their biggest ever sales days during the world famous canine event at the weekend.
Starbucks in the Piazza, run by Amadeus, carried out 1131 transactions, comprising 3358 individual items including 2053 hot drinks. This resulted in the highest ever income at any of the Amadeus managed Starbucks stores.
Amadeus’ Mobile Team situated in the Pavilion link sold 441 Pork Ciabatta rolls and 343 portions of Sausage & Mash, the total number of transactions was 1728, resulting in their biggest ever sales figures too.
The Amadeus restaurant in Hall 4 had its most successful sales day since it was refurbished eight years ago, completing a record 1933 transactions. The restaurant sold 549 Hot Meals, including 201 portions of Amadeus’ popular Beer Battered British Cod and Chips.

Using our experience in the ‘visitor’ hospitality area enables us to cater for fluctuating visitor numbers and is one of our key strengths.”
