ABK6 VSOP Grand Cru has been awarded The World’s Best Cognac 2014 at The World Drinks Awards – an impressive achievement for such a young Single Estate Cognac brand.
Launched by Francis Abécassis in 2006 to appeal to a younger audience than traditional cognacs, ABK6 VSOP Grand Cru is an outstanding VSOP Cognac.
Gold in colour, the nose is complex with stewed fruit and ginger notes which are followed by brioche, vanilla, apple and cinnamon. The palate has an excellent full structure with ripe fruits and a long finish of vanilla and dark chocolate spice.
Internationally recognised, ABK6 Cognac (pronounced A-bé-ca-ssis, as the family name of the producer) is a Single Estate Cognac range entirely produced on the Abécassis family estate in France. Blending “eaux-de-vie” from a Single Estate gives these Cognacs inimitable character and depth.
