This April, Orderella, the leading mobile ordering app which allows its customers to order and pay for drinks and food with their phone, is being trialled at 40 Star Pubs & Bars. The leased pub division of leading cider and beer business, Heineken UK, will undertake the trial before being potentially rolled out to a total of 1,200 of the business’s venues.
Simple and quick
Simple and quick to use, the trial of the app means that customers visiting any of the selected Star Pubs & Bars can spend less time queuing and more time socialising. Customers simply order and pay for their drinks via their phone, and then have them delivered to their table, or can receive a message when their drinks are ready and collect them from the bar. Payments are made through Orderella’s payment provider, Paythru.
Maximising sales opportunities
The trial of Orderella will maximise sales opportunities at Star Pubs & Bars, which operates a varied estate in a wide range of diverse locations, whilst also speeding up transaction times by up to 90 seconds compared to a card transaction, freeing up staff to serve more customers during busy periods.
