Sous Chef required for a permanent position at a 4 star historic hotel in the picturesque town of Brighton. It is close to all the amenities and a stone’s throw away from the beach.
This position offers a very attractive salary of £22,000 and an opportunity to be part of a well established and respected brigade of 8 consisting of Head Chef, 3 commis chefs, a breakfast chef and 3 kitchen porters. This role would require covering the Head Chefs days off so experience in running a kitchen including GP’s, ordering and stock control is a must. This is a busy kitchen serving up to 200 covers a day consisting of 90%fresh and 20% frozen food. Experience cooking fish is necessary as a large portion of the menu is fish.
The Hotel caters for conferences and events and boasts 13 event suites.
