Romain Pottier is joining “rhubarb” in the newly created role of Director of Restaurants, bringing a wealth of experience and in-depth knowledge in the restaurant and hospitality sectors from both sides of the Atlantic.
His responsibilities include assisting Helen Bowey, Retail Director in launching ‘The Sky Garden’ at 20 Fenchurch Street that is planned to open in Autumn 2014. He will also be overseeing Gallery Mess restaurant & bar at the Saatchi Gallery and developing new opportunities within the division.
Romain’s career highlights include a recent appointment as General Manager of Sushi Samba London where he was a fundamental part of the team in opening and managing their site in Heron Tower. He has also worked in high end restaurants for world renowned chefs such as Alain Ducasse and Gordon Ramsey, as well as working on joint ventures between Morgans hotel group/Kimpton hotels and China Grill Management.
