Orderella on target for 1,500 sites by June

By James Russell: Orderella on target for 1,500 sites by June

February 5, 2014

Orderella, the app which allows its customers to order and pay for drinks and food with their smartphone, is on target to achieve its aim of having 1,500 sites signed up and using the app by June 2014.

This comes ahead of an exciting month for Orderella, which will see the app going live this week in Gordon’s Wine Bar, the oldest of its kind in the city, located in the cellars by Embankment Tube Station, and roll-out also commencing this week with the McManus Pub Group, which has a chain of pubs and bars across the East Midlands and the South-East. Orderella will also shortly go live with the Ignite Group, starting with The Loft bar in Bumpkin at Westfield, Stratford City, before being rolled out across Eclipse bars.

In addition, the Orderella app will soon be launching at Porterhouse Group sites, both in Covent Garden and Ireland; Yager Bar, near St Paul’s Cathedral; tapas bar chain The Port House, which has sites in London and Dublin; and Newport Rugby Club will launch the app at the stadium on Sunday 23 February.

Dennis Collet, Orderella CEO, comments: “February is going to be a hugely important month for the Orderella, as we dramatically increase the number of sites live and using the app. This is all in line with our aim of having 1,500 sites signed up to Orderella by the World Cup in June, as we believe the app will help operators to maximise sales opportunities during the sporting season.”

About Orderella

Orderella is an app which allows customers to order and pay for drinks and food with their smartphone. It was the brainchild of five business executives who have a diverse background in IT, Finance, Consultancy and Legal Services, and was created in August 2012. The team has extensive experience in the field of online ordering solutions. The app aims to enhance the order process to improve the overall customer experience, as well as improve operator efficiencies.

The app was launched at the Keyworth Tavern in Nottingham on 23 October 2013, the first London site launched the app at The Parcel Yard on 6 November 2013, followed by the launch at the outside terrace of Gordon’s Wine Bar on 30 January 2014.
