Hummus Bros would like to announce the appointment of Jon Hassall, most recently UK Operations and Commercial Projects director of Patisserie Valerie and formerly of AMT Coffee and McDonald’s to its newly created MD role. Founders Christian Mouysset and Ronen Givon will remain with the company, focusing on brand development.
Jon Hassall has a background in three of the most innovative casual dining retailers on the planet. He is joining Hummus Bros to develop their retail offer, grow its sizeable delivery operation and open more high street stores. In order to meet their aggressive growth targets he will also grow Hummus Bros’s innovative new pop-up format that it began to open in 2013 in major corporate restaurants.

Additional funding
Having recently secured additional funding from existing and new shareholders including some from one of the major operators of franchised casual dining outlets in the UK, the company is poised to own the fast / casual market it currently operates in. In mid-2013, Hummus Bros in partnership with 3 of the major facilities management companies, began opening a highly innovative pop-up format in corporate restaurants in the City. This has proved highly popular and is expanding rapidly.
Hummus Bros has also provided a free delivery service and this now represents over 10% of its sales and continues to grow.
