More than 1,500 of Europe’s hospitality technology elite attended the second Hospitality Technology Europe (HTE) show in London, despite a two day Tube strike that threatened to cause havoc for attendees. And, having grown by nearly 60 per cent since 2013’s first-ever edition, the 2014 show saw an event floor, panel discussions and supplier master classes all packed with buyers fresh with market optimism.
A range of exhibitors were at Earls Court 2 representing the hospitality technology industry and showcasing some of the most advanced products and services on, and about to hit, the market place. The two day event also included keynote addresses from industry leaders: Allie Hope, Head of Development and Acquisitions for Virgin Hotels, and Randy Dearborn, VP of Multimedia and Guest Technologies for MGM Resorts and Hotels USA.
For the second year running Hospitality Technology Europe welcomed exhibitors from guest technology, revenue & distribution, property operation, infrastructure and sales and marketing sectors to meet with new prospects, catch up with existing clients, exchange business cards and seal deals with hospitality technology buyers.
Claudia Harris, event manager, Hospitality Technology Europe commented: “Since our inaugural show the team has worked tirelessly to deliver a show that was bigger and better than last year. The feedback from exhibitors and attendees has been overwhelmingly positive and we look forward to next year’s edition at Olympia with even more exhibitors and an even fuller conference programme.”
Boasting over 25 thought-provoking learning sessions, practical case studies and interactive events, such as supplier masterclasses and industry round tables, Hospitality Technology Europe provides the industry with a relevant forum in which to share best practice, enhance guest experience, and improve business efficiency and revenues.
