S&S Northern has introduced new contemporary designs for a number of its gas interlock systems for use in laboratories and commercial kitchens. The newly designed panels replace a key system used to turn on and off the gas, water and electricity, with easy to use touch button control.
The new Merlin 1000S,1000S+ and Merlin 1000SW+ will replace the Merlin 1000GD, 1000GD+, Merlin 1000 GDW and Merlin 1000GDW+ respectively and are designed for use in laboratories in schools, colleges and universities. These new interlock panels allow teaching staff total control of gas, water and electricity within the laboratory at the touch of a button thereby ensuring student safety during class time and the protection of the building out of hours.
Alongside its gas interlocks systems for laboratories, S&S Northern has also redesigned its Merlin 2000 and Merlin 2500 for use in commercial kitchens with the same touch button technology replacing the key system. This allows more easy and quick control over the gas supply to the kitchen, thereby ensuring the health and safety of staff.
