Italian fresh casual dining restaurant group Vapiano has appointed Dagmara Glesmer-Salamon (pictured) as general manager of its restaurant in Great Portland Street, London, overseeing 100 staff.
Dagmara joined Vapiano (Great Portland Street) as an assistant manager in September 2012 and succeeds Alex Fisher who has been named as general manager of Vapiano’s new restaurant in Wardour Street, Soho, which will open in 2014.
Vapiano Managing Director (UK), Phil Sermon, said: “Dagmara richly deserves her new role as general manager.
“She is an outstanding manager and will be a great asset to the restaurant and its continued success.
“Vapiano is always keen to promote people from within and Dagmara is a great example of our approach to offering our staff the opportunity to grow with the company.
