intu has strengthened the catering offer at intu Midsummer Place in Milton Keynes with two new openings within the 60,000 sq ft Boulevard area, which links intu Midsummer Place with the adjoining centre:mk shopping centre.
Ed’s Easy Diner has opened its first Ed’s Outside in the UK, a fast food concept serving its full range of burgers and shakes from a bespoke American airstream unit. Chopstix Noodle Bar has opened a 1,460 sq ft unit with external seating, next to Pret a Manger and opposite to Starbucks and the new Ed’s Outside
Martin Breeden, asset management director at intu, said: “Both Ed’s Outside and Chopstix are modern, fun brands that fit perfectly with our young shoppers, families and local office workers who regularly visit intu Midsummer Place. Both lettings are part of our plans to increase the vibrancy and dwell time of the Boulevard by providing a wider range of good quality, convenient, grab and go food offers for our 17 million a year customer base.”
