Sam Hawkes appointed Head Chef of The Cadogan Arms

By James Russell: Sam Hawkes appointed Head Chef of The Cadogan Arms

November 18, 2013

ETM Group has appointed Sam Hawkes as Head Chef of The Cadogan Arms on London’s King’s Road.

Sam joins ETM Group from The Fellow, Kings Cross where he was Head Chef for two years. Before that he held positions at The Owl and The Pussycat, Shoreditch and The Bull and Last, Highgate. Sam hopes his recent experience at award-winning gastropubs will help to raise the food offering at the already popular Chelsea hotspot.

Hawkes said, “I am really excited to be part of ETM, a group I’ve always admired for their drive to use the very best of British ingredients. It’s a pleasure to be in the Cadogan kitchen with a great team behind me.”

Part of the renowned Cadogan Estate, The Cadogan Arms is a sympathetically restored Victorian pub that still retains its homely original features including traditional bar tiles, a mosaic tiled entrance, oak paneling and floorboards. The main bar is a comfortable drinking spot, the dining area surrounds a huge open fire and upstairs the original Billiards Room is perfect for some friendly pool competitions!
