The UK’s number 1 soft cheese, Philadelphia has won a prestigious industry ‘Good Dairy Commendation’ award. The award recognises Philadelphia’s ongoing commitment to sustainable dairy; and to delivering fresh, quality produce.
Established in 2011 as part of the Compassion in World Farming’s Food Business Awards, the Good Dairy Commendation celebrates brands and companies that use, or are committing to using, higher welfare systems for cows. The Good Dairy Award categories have some of the world’s top food companies on board, with previous award winners including Ben and Jerry’s in 2012.
Philadelphia believe caring for its cow’s health and well-being is not only good for the cows, but also helps the cows produce the highest quality milk, and the highest quality milk means the best tasting Philadelphia cream cheese.
