Former MasterChef winner Dhruv Baker (above) will be guest speaker at the Hotel Marketing Association Annual Christmas Lunch at London’s Savoy Hotel on 16 December 2013.
Dhruv, who was the series winner in 2010, will be helping to raise money for Springboard, the HMA’s chosen charity at this year’s event. As well as speaking about the charity he will share experiences of how his career has taken off since the show, and the influences on his cooking style.
Since his win, Dhruv has worked with Michel Roux Jr at Le Gavroche and at De Librije in Holland. He has launched his own catering and events company, Earlsfield Kitchen, and his first cookbook will be released in May.
“We are delighted that Dhruv Baker has agreed to be guest speaker at our event and thrilled that monies raised will go to support Springboard the industry charity,” said Linda Moore, Chairman Hotel Marketing Association.
This year the HMA is celebrating the 20th Anniversary of its Annual Marketing Awards and will be announcing the winners in five award categories during the ceremony, including Young Marketer of the Year.
