Describing itself as ‘a unique mix of vibrant restaurants and street food vans’, Trinity Kitchen opens on 17 December, when the public can find out for itself when visiting Trinity Leeds in Albion Street. This is an initiative that other shopping centres and venues will be watching with real interest.
What and where?
Every month, Trinity Kitchen will feature 5 of the UK’s very best street food traders – their street food vans, carts, sheds and trucks will be physically lifted onto the first floor of Trinity Leeds, above the Boots store.
Each will take a one month ‘residency’ before being lifted back out and replaced by another five – ensuring that there’s always something new and unique to tempt visitors’ taste buds. Each street food trader has their own unique story, and serves food of the very highest standards.
Trinity Kitchen is working alongside Richard Johnson, food journalist and organiser of the annual British Street Food awards, to source the best the UK has to offer. This year’s winner of the Street Food awards gets a free slot in the Kitchen.

Open from 8am until midnight, you can get one of the best coffees in town from Notes cafe, enjoy a meat feast from Chicago Rib Shack and wash it all down with a top notch glass of bubbly from 360 Champagne & Cocktails. Pho, Tortilla, PizzaLuxe and Chip & Fish complete an impressive line up of brands.
