Award winning Stonegate Pub Company has put plans in place to boost pre-booked sales across its businesses with the appointment of Alex Griem in the newly created role of Head of Pre-Booked Sales.
Reporting into Richard Bruce, Stonegate’s Marketing Director, Griem, who brings with him eight years of experience in marketing and pre-booked sales, has been tasked with developing and growing Stonegate’s revenue streams in pre-booked sales across the 548 pubs and bars in the estate.
Huge potential
Speaking about his appointment, Alex said: “The Stonegate estate is really diverse with a variety of businesses that cater for a range of occasions, so for me, there’s a huge amount of potential to grow pre-booked sales. We have everything from great local community pubs, premium high street operations such as Slug and Lettuce and Living Room to fantastic late night venues and I want to contribute to creating a culture whereby the whole company embraces pre-booked sales.”
Capturing the imagination of customers
Richard Bruce, Marketing Director at the Stonegate Pub Company said: “We are delighted to welcome Alex to Stonegate. His role will be to work with the sales teams across the estate to create plans and products, which will capture the imagination of our customers. Stonegate has a fantastic opportunity within our unique estate to help our customers plan a complete day, for example meeting with friends for lunch or dinner in one of our traditional pubs, enjoying a special cocktail making class in a Slug and Lettuce, through to ending the night in one of our late night venues – singing and dancing the night away!”
