Prezzo Plc is to open 16 new restaurants in the run up to Christmas, opening ten of its Prezzo Italian restaurants, three of its Chimichanga Mexican restaurants, and three of its Cleaver restaurants, specialising in burgers, ribs and chicken.
It is investing more than £8 million on the new restaurants and creating 300 plus jobs.
The restaurants will be spread across the UK, including Ripon, Preston, Birmingham, Oxford, Gloucester and Trowbridge, and will bring the number of restaurants within the group to 239.
Prezzo Plc chief executive Jonathan Kaye, said: “We are pleased to be opening 16 new restaurants between now and Christmas.
“Many of the restaurants will be opening in towns where we are not yet represented.
“The openings will be spread across our three brands; Prezzo, Chimichanga and Cleaver and we are looking forward to further expansion throughout 2014 and beyond.”
