Magnuson Worldwide to launch CRS1 – world’s lowest cost reservation system – 17 October at The AHC

By James Russell: Magnuson Worldwide to launch CRS1 – world’s lowest cost reservation system – 17 October at The AHC

October 9, 2013

Magnuson Worldwide, the world’s largest hotel services organisation, today announced it intends to launch a lowest cost global hotel reservation system on October 16th at The AHC in Manchester.

The CRS1 platform will be made available as a limited launch in the UK and will offer flat fees per transaction with volume based pricing. Magnuson states that hotels utilising commonly provided legacy hotel reservation systems will be able to reduce CRS transaction costs up to 90%.

The CRS1 system offers a free hotel property management system, PMS1, and has no monthly fees, no monthly minimums, and no long-term contracts.

CRS1 offers hotels the ability to make instant rate and availability changes to a complete global distribution of GDS channels Sabre, Amadeus, Worldspan, Apollo, Pegasus as well as direct connections to Google Hotel Finder, Expedia, Booking.com, GlobalHotelExchange.com, Travelocity, Orbitz, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.

CRS1 is certified to interface with major PMS systems Micros, MSI, Infor by SoftBrands, Maestro, Agilysys, Inn Quest, RezStream, Rezovation, Lodgical Solutions, Innsoft, AutoClerk, Resort Data Processing, SoftHotel and RSI.

This year marks the second time Magnuson Worldwide have used The AHC as a platform for a UK product launch as the 2011 conference saw the launch of Global Hotel Exchange (GHX) to the UK hotel market. Thomas Magnuson, Chief Executive Officer, Magnuson Worldwide comments; “The AHC provides as ideal platform for us to launch CRS1 to the industry. In contrast to other events, The AHC maintains its promise to deliver practical knowledge to hoteliers for them to take away and implement to increase revenues. This is in tune with what CRS1 is able to deliver…..the ability to put control of rates back in the hands of the operators. I look forward to attending The AHC next week and sharing further information on CRS1 with you”.

Registration for The AHC will close on Friday 11th October. To register now, visit www.theahc.co.uk
