Inventive Leisure, the leading national premium bar operator, has re-opened its Leadenhall, Cheltenham, Preston and Bristol Revolution bars, following a total investment in excess of £1m in October alone.
The business is currently undergoing a dramatic transformation in both its operational style and product offering as part of its £6.6m investment in its ongoing Evolution programme.

Revolution Bars recently announced that it had diversified away from vodka based cocktails which formed part of its iconic history, to launch a new cocktail menu featuring recipes using a multitude of high-end spirits and liqueurs. The new menu has been greatly extended from an original offering of 18 to 33.
Leadenhall Revolution is based in a former Midlands Bank designed by renowned architect Edwin Lutyens. It now boasts a dramatic 20ft back bar (see above) illuminated by striking gantry lighting to showcase lavish displays of champagne, spirits and wines to customers. It is complemented by a 30ft marble bar top.
The entire bar has undergone a lavish, high-end refurbishment, moving to a light, airy design to evoke a feeling of opulence for customers. The raised mezzanine dining section (below) has a lounge-like feel and allows customers to enjoy views of the whole bar through floor to ceiling glass panels.
Cheltenham Revolution occupies a former Methodist church with limited natural lighting. The bar has utilised the very latest designs in soft furnishings, lighting, artwork and seating to create a much brighter environment for customers. The upstairs bar on the mezzanine level has been given a touch of elegance and there is now a new private party space located behind the bar.
Revolution Bristol (above) is housed in an old fish market and is also a listed building. The investment in the industrial style bar included doubling the size of the kitchen and completely refitting it to cater for the increased covers in the dining area. In keeping with the Evolution programme, the dark leather furniture has been replaced with a stylish, eclectic mix of high-end furnishings and fabrics. It is complemented by pastel walls, red pillars and quirky displays to create feature focal points. Upstairs, the mezzanine bar has been transformed into a relaxed, luxurious lounge area, quite like an elegant snug. The garden features new furnishings and flooring, together with a wall displaying the old fish market entrance gates.
The downstairs bar area at Preston Revolution has been stripped back to its original structure with exposed brickwork, joists and reclaimed wood cladding. The design is based on rustic, antique elegance with chandeliers adorning the ceiling in the bar area. Furnishings have moved away from dark wood to antique white, complemented by vibrant fabrics in light, floral patterns.
