Anthony Cox, who has over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry, has been appointed as the new General Manager of Danesfield House Hotel and Spa near Marlow-on-Thames.
Anthony boasts an exceptional CV, with vast experience within luxury award-winning hotels and venues. His previous position was Hotel Director for The Vineyard Group where he was responsible for The Vineyard Hotel & Spa at Stockcross, a five AA red star Relais & Chateax hotel renowned for its fine wines and exceptional cuisine, and Donnington Valley Golf Club.
Anthony commented: “It’s a great honor to join Danesfield House Hotel and Spa, which is a magnificent historical property, with an award-winning spa and an excellent reputation as a food destination. My most recent years have been spent in the five-red star market, and I am looking forward to taking Danesfield House Hotel to the next level and into the future.”
He continued: “I believe that being a hotelier isn’t a job, it’s a lifestyle. By fully encompassing this ethos, our service driven team will build on the strong foundations laid by the previous General Manager Brian Miller, who spent 19 years at this prestigious hotel.”
A Graduate of The Cornell & Cranfield Business School and a St Julian Scholar, Anthony is also a mentor for The Savoy Society Mentoring Scheme and supports students throughout their undergraduate hospitality degrees.
