Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, AA Hotel Group of the Year 2013/14, will be expanding its business in North Yorkshire after reaching a management agreement with the Solberge Hall Hotel in Northallerton.
With immediate effect, the agreement ensures Solberge Hall Hotel will be able to take advantage of the cost synergies, revenue, distribution, sales and marketing support already afforded to the other 45 owned and managed Macdonald Hotels & Resorts within the UK and Europe-wide portfolio.
The group’s industry credentials were recognised just days ago with the presentation of the AA Hotel Group of the Year 2013/14 award, the second time in five years the UK’s largest privately owned hotel operator have achieved this prestigious title.
While there are currently no plans to incorporate the Macdonald Hotels & Resorts name into ‘Solberge Hall Hotel’, the team will now receive the high standards of product and service training offered by Macdonald Hotels & Resorts to ensure consistency of service delivery across its group.
