Flintshire based company, C&C Catering Engineers Limited, has announced the launch of a series of new ‘tips and tricks’ articles on their website (www.cateringengineers.com) with the information provided by their very own engineers. The monthly features will offer expert advice on the various issues and potential problems relating to the maintenance of commercial catering equipment, in addition to how best to prevent these difficulties from occurring.
The unusual idea has been developed by C&C Catering Engineers’ Director, Julie Dewar, with the objective of the articles to prevent unnecessary repair and expense whilst highlighting the importance of taking out a professional maintenance contract. Indeed, C&C Catering Engineers are offering a 20% discount on all maintenance contracts taken out with the company in the month of August.
Founded in 1998, C&C Catering Engineers works with a wide range of clients from the hospitality industry to local authorities and has recently celebrated a raft of contract wins. The Marriott Hotels in Liverpool and Preston are their newest clients, with the Cheshire East Schools contract renewed only last month for a further three years. This is one of the company’s biggest contracts, with responsibility for the repair and maintenance of all catering equipment in more than 120 schools across the Cheshire East region.
“Each month, one of our engineer’s puts forward recommendations drawing from his own extensive experience.” says Julie. “Last month, engineer, Mark Constantine spoke about the importance of the ‘jacketed bulb’ in food preparation areas, and the month prior, Stuart Day offered guidance on oven ranges. All of our engineers have a great deal of knowledge of the industry and I am extremely pleased that they are able to share their professional advice on maintenance and repair, in the hope that we can save our clients preventable aggravation and expenditure.”
