Outstanding New Hotel of the Year Award 2013 – vote by 16 August
This new award expands the scope of recognition to all independent, luxury and boutique hotels that have been operating for three years or less, and represents an exciting opportunity for those independent, luxury and boutique hotels that have only been in business for a few years but have already made a real impact on the industry through their initiative, dynamism and innovation.
While the award will focus on proven success and overall excellence, hotels that enter the award will also need to demonstrate a track record for taking risks and seizing opportunities to both drive their business and support the industry.
The nominations process will offer the public the chance to put forward their favourite new hotel for the award after which the nomination committee will create a shortlist of the best entries to be sent out across the country to independent hoteliers for their final vote.

Independent Hotelier of the Year 2013 shortlist announced
The Independent Hotel Show has announced the shortlist of nominees for its Independent Hotelier of the Year Award 2013 and the hospitality industry is now invited to vote for the person they believe is worthy of this title. The nominees are:

The award will be given to the individual who has consistently helped change the landscape of the independent, luxury and boutique hotel sector; a pioneer with a reputation for pushing boundaries. Above all, the winner will be someone committed to the development of their team, the success of their establishment and the industry at large.

The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony immediately following the first day of the show on 30th October 2013.
