Stonegate announced on 12 August the acquisition of 13 Living Room sites from Premium Bars & Restaurants. The price has not been advised.
The sites are located in major cities across the UK, including Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, London, Manchester, Milton Keynes, Newcastle, Oxford and York.
This transaction is in addition to the recent acquisitions of The Queens Head in Frodsham, Cheshire and a new larger site for the Slug & Lettuce brand in the O2 Greenwich arena.
Stonegate has 573 pubs, operating in divisions that include Classic Inns, Local Pubs, Great Traditional Pubs, Slug and Lettuce, Yates and Missoula. There is speculation that some at least of the Living Room sites will be converted to Slug and Lettuce, for which continuing, rapid expansion is planned.
