Searcys is to take centre stage in Birmingham when it opens the Centenary Bar & Brasserie at The REP on Centenary Square this September.
The company behind some of the UK’s most iconic restaurants and bars including the Gherkin, St Pancras Grand and 30 Euston Square, Searcys will be adding to its repertoire when Birmingham Repertory Theatre reaffirms its position as one of Birmingham’s most prominent attractions, following a two and a half year refurbishment.
The £13m contract was awarded following a highly competitive tender process late last year, and Searcys will be providing all catering at the venue which will include the 90 cover restaurant, external terrace and onsite café and bars, as well as the dedicated conference and banqueting offer, over the next five years.
The kitchen will be overseen by Michelin starred chef Paul Welburn, formerly head chef at Gary Rhodes’ flagship restaurant in London.
