The Arch London, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, has appointed Michael Voigt as its new General Manger.
German born Michael boasts an exceptional CV with vast experience in the luxury five-star hotel market. His career encompasses working in hotels such as, The Four Seasons Hampshire, The Connaught Hotel, One Aldwych, The Savoy, The Berkeley Hotel and Hotel Le Bristol in Paris.
Most recently Michael worked on the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games (LOCOG), coordinating accommodation and hospitality within the Olympic village for the 17,000 Athletes, Officials, National and International Olympic Committees, Coaches and Dignitaries from across the World.
Prior to this appointment, Michael spent two years working as Hotel Manager for Pennyhill Park, with its award-winning spa and Michelin star restaurant; and before this was Hotel Manager for the Four Seasons Hampshire. Within both of these hotels he was responsible for 250 staff.
Michael became General Manger at Dukes Hotel, following his promotion from Rooms Division Director at One Aldwych Hotel.
Speaking three languages, English, German and French, he is looking forward to taking the service standards at The Arch London to the heights of London’s very best five-star hotels.
