De Vere Venues has announced the appointment of two new general managers: Kate Fletcher (pictured an left) joins the team at Devonport House, London and Emma Fairhurst takes the helm at Colmore Gate in Birmingham.
Kate began her career in food and beverage, before progressing into operation and hotel management roles, most recently as general manager of the Knightsbridge Millennium Hotel.
Further north, in Birmingham, Emma Fairhurst has been appointed general manager of Colmore Gate. Emma brings 15 years of experience in hotel and conference venues in both operations and management roles, having previously held positions at Pedersen Hotels and Principal Hayley and most recently launched the Radisson Blu Hotel at East Midlands Airport as Director of Operations.
These two new appointments come during a period of rapid expansion for De Vere Venues, having recently welcomed a number of new venues to the group, including Kassam Stadium and Heythrop Park in Oxfordshire , Studley Castle, Warwickshire, Chicheley Hall in Newport Pagnall and the East Sussex National on the South Coast, bringing with them a number of new recruits.
