Michelin starred chef, Angela Hartnett is to open a new restaurant at 33 St James’s Street after DCL – the leisure specialist – agreed a new letting on behalf of The Crown Estate.
Situated in the former home of Gordon Ramsay’s Petrus – where Harnett trained under Marcus Wareing – the new restaurant will have a relaxed atmosphere, offering a quality dining experience at affordable prices. Angela Hartnett said: “The Crown Estate’s plans for the future of St. James’s mean that its profile as a destination will continue to improve and evolve, and I am delighted to be part of the expansion of this fantastic area.”
Josh Leon, an Associate Director at DCL said: “Angela Hartnett is highly respected in London’s dining scene for her flair, innovation and integrity. The Crown Estate is passionate about getting the right retail and restaurant tenant mix in St James’s to augment the current and planned developments and improvements to the landscape. It is very quickly becoming apparent that St James’s is the area to watch right now. “
Hartnett currently runs Michelin starred Murano in Mayfair.
