Tragus Group Limited (“Tragus”), one of the largest casual dining groups in the UK, and owners of the Bella Italia, Café Rouge and Strada brands, announces that Peter Blake has been appointed as Managing Direct of Café Rouge & Belgo with immediate effect.
Peter spent 16 years working for Whitbread PLC. He started his career in the leisure sector at TGI Fridays, as Regional Manager and Operations Director, before joining Costa Coffee as Operations Director in 2005. Most recently Peter was Chief Operating Officer of Whitbread’s restaurants division managing five brands including Beefeater, Table Table, Brewers Fayre, Taybarns and Buffet Place, with 15000 employees.

In addition to classic pizzas and pasta its broad menu also includes a range of grill main courses, sandwiches and salads.

Tragus also operates 14 Brasseries under the brands Huxleys, Belgo, Amalfi, Potters and Ortega.
