Preferred Hotel Group™, a global provider of sales, marketing and distribution services to independent luxury hotels, has appointed Brenda Collin as Regional Director UK, Ireland & Nordics, based in London.
Ms. Collin will be responsible for an existing 22 Preferred Hotel Group properties within the UK, Ireland & Nordics regions and for development opportunities in these areas.
Prior to Preferred Hotel Group, Brenda was based at hotel representation company HotelREZ for a period of eight years, where she held responsibility for commercial contracting of member hotels and delivering a strategy that built the business to over 700 clients from start up. She was the driving force behind sales and business development functions delivering over £9 million in sales during her tenure.
Ms Collin also held key positions at Utell/Pegasus at a time when the company was the largest hotel representation company in the world. Following a period as Director of Account Management – where she was accountable for the member portfolio and revenue performance of approximately 500 hotels within UK and Ireland – she was promoted to Director of Business Development, where she was responsible for development of the Utell product in the Middle East and Africa. She steadily built up an existing client base and enhanced the company profile to market leader in this region, as it was at that time.
In addition to her vast representation experience, Brenda has also held numerous Sales & Business Development positions with Hilton Hotels worldwide including a period as Acting General Manager.
