Armourcoat continues to expand its global export strategy with a focus on China in 2014. The UK based decorative coatings company will be exhibiting at the ‘Design Shanghai’ exhibition in February at the Shanghai Exhibition Centre, and seeking new partners in the city.
Since 2001, Armourcoat has concentrated on the development of its export operation and product divisions. This reflected a new direction for the Armourcoat business, evolving from a specialist supplier to a global decorative coatings Group. A family owned business, Armourcoat manages a UK contracting division and global export network to over seventy countries.
Armourcoat Group Marketing Director Daniel Nevitt commented “In 2014 we are looking to increase our presence in China. With over a decade of success in the territory, and as part of our global expansion programme, Armourcoat are now seeking agents in Shanghai.”
Highlighting the global nature of the business, Armourcoat has successfully undertaken an ambitious growth programme to ensure speed and efficiencies within local markets in recent years.
In 2009, a subsidiary business was established in North America for national distribution with precast panel production capabilities. In 2012, new facilities were established in Dubai, UAE and Shenzhen, China to manage increasing demand.
Working closely with the China-Britain Business Council and the UKTI, Armourcoat has received vital export support. Assistance provided under the various support programmes has enabled the company to achieve ambitious growth targets quicker and with the added assurance of expert advice and planning.
The city’s first truly international design event, ‘Design Shanghai’ will attract over 40,000 architects, interior designers, developers, designers and China’s most affluent design conscious consumers. Visit Armourcoat at booth C2-236.
