Philadelphia Recipe, Beef Stroganoff with Simply Stir Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients for 4

  • 240 g long grain rice
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 onion , sliced thinly
  • 450 g rump steak , thinly sliced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 200 ml Philadelphia Simply Stir Mushroom
  • 250 g broccoli florets or a vegetable of your choice

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice according to the instructions on the pack.
  2. Whilst it is cooking, heat the oil in a non-stick pan and fry the onion for 1-2 minutes to soften, add the beef and fry for 4-5 minutes until browned on all sides. Sprinkle in the paprika and stir through the meat.
  3. Reduce the heat, add the Simply Stir and heat through for 1-2 minutes, stirring well. Cook the broccoli florets in a little boiling water for 2-3 minutes until tender, drain.
  4. Serve stroganoff over cooked rice with the broccoli florets or a vegetable of your choice.
