Almost five years since the first Jamie’s Italian opened in Oxford, a new ‘little brother’ is to be introduced by the successful collection of affordable, quality high street restaurants.
Due to open in mid-July, Jamie’s Italian Trattoria in Richmond will be smaller and more rustic, taking inspiration from the simplicity of its much-loved namesake – and continuing to serve food and drink in a warm, friendly, hospitable, home-from-home environment.
The menu is inspired by tradition but peppered with twists of originality. From generous plates of antipasti and comforting, moreish bowls of pasta (made fresh every day in the restaurant) to mouth-watering grills and colourful salads. There will truly be something for everyone. The menu also features a range of topped pizza planks that will be perfect for sharing.
The kids’ menu has been created with both children and parents in mind as all of the exciting and tasty dishes are nutritionally balanced, with no added salt. As always, the menu will be produce-driven, with all ingredients higher welfare, sustainably sourced and of the quality you’d expect from a Jamie Oliver restaurant.
The new Richmond restaurant will also be opening its doors at 10am every morning so that anyone can pop in and read the papers – or gossip about last night’s TV – over a freshly ground coffee and a breakfast pastry.
