AEG Live and The Royal Parks have partnered with M&S to create the M&S Summertime Kitchen that will celebrate the Best of British Summer Time, through delicious M&S food. Leading chefs from across the UK will join together to give inspiring demonstrations on how to prepare summer food favourites, whilst giving audiences tips on how to impress at BBQs, picnics or summer parties.
From Monday 8 to Thursday 11 July, guests at Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park will be able to attend any one of the bite-sized 30 minute sessions taking place each day at no cost, with extended paid-for evening sessions featuring superstar chefs.
A cast of stars…
BBC1 Saturday Kitchen’s James Martin, ITV1 This Morning’s Phil Vickery, Restaurateur and TV Chef Theo Randall, ITV1 Britain’s Best Dish Judge Ed Baines, ITV1 Saturday Cookbook presenter Mark Sargeant, The Wolseley’s Head Chef Lawrence Keogh, Masterchef finalist Stacie Stewart and TV’s Jo Pratt amongst others will take part in sessions over the five days, with a top M&S chef appearing alongside, giving lots of hints and tips on how you can create fantastic dishes at home.
James Martin said, “I am delighted to be appearing at Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park cooking on the M&S Summertime Kitchen. It’s great to be part of such an exciting new event and I can’t wait to share some of my favourite summer recipes with the audiences”.
A state-of-the-art kitchen theatre facility located in the idyllic setting of the Village Green, the M&S Summertime Kitchen has a capacity of over 400 with screens throughout the Village Hall venue and cameras positioned above the cooking stations so the entire audience can get up close to the culinary action.
A 90 minute session will take place on Tuesday 9 July at 7.30pm with John Torode and on Wednesday 10 July at 7.30pm with James Martin, with premium tickets including a glass of M&S fizz available.
