Enterprise – the leading specialist operator of almost 6,000 leased and tenanted pubs in the UK – will soon be able to offer high speed WiFi through Arqiva, the communications infrastructure and media services company. This service will be available free to all customers and staff in Enterprise pubs across England and Wales.
Ed Cottrell, Commercial Director at Enterprise said: “We are delighted to be exclusively promoting Arqiva to our Publicans who, over the coming months, will have the option to access a first rate, free, WiFi service.
WiFi an expectation not an option
“WiFi is now an expectation, not an option, for most pubs. It brings new people in during the day, and increases loyalty and dwell time from customers. We also want to connect more with our Publicans through our digital channels, and this will help as the Publican will also benefit from a free WiFi service. The feedback from our trial pubs in Halifax has been reassuringly positive, helping those Publicans to play even more of a part in their community.”
Nicolas Ott, Managing Director, Government, Mobile & Enterprise at Arqiva, said:
“Each week more than 15 million of us visit the pub. It is an important social ritual for many of us and when we are at the pub we want to stay connected.
“The partnership with Enterprise provides further proof of our ability to deliver a rollout to thousands of pubs with a high-quality user experience that is reliable and easy to connect to.”
