Marketing Week reports that Nando’s has wasted no time in poking fun at controversial Liverpool striker Luis Suarez for biting Chelsea footballer Ivanovic’s arm – with a humorous social media advert reassuring the footballer he will “never bite alone”.
The advert first appeared on the brand’s Facebook page with the strapline: “Suarez, still hungry? Uvanachick?”
It goes on to read: “At Nando’s, there’s enough Peri-Peri flame-grilled chickens to go around for everyone. Basted in your choice of flavour. Rest assured, Suarez, you’ll never bite alone.”
