One year after opening, budget hotel easyHotel, Glasgow is reported to have gone into administration as a result of owners Glasgow eH (Trading) going into administration.
The £25 per night hotel, with 125 rooms and situated on Hill Street in Glasgow, has already been closed, putting 16 out of work.
The hotel was converted from an office block built in the seventies, and was expected to prove a popular though ‘no frills’ option for budget travellers – tourists or students – as well as some business travellers.
The closure does not affect the wider easyHotel chain.
