DoubleTree by Hilton, one of ten brands within Hilton Worldwide’s portfolio, will open two new hotels in London this summer: Ealing and Hyde Park, both of which are in the final stages of extensive refurbishments totalling £20m, joining seven other DoubleTree by Hilton properties across the capital city.

These two new properties complement our company’s long established presence in the city, which began 50 years ago when the landmark London Hilton on Park Lane first opened.
“Building on the international exposure of 2012, we are thrilled to be enhancing our presence in London with these two latest additions and now have 38 hotels open and under development right across the city and its airports.”
DoubleTree by Hilton London – Hyde Park
Doubletree by Hilton London – Hyde Park, located on Bayswater Road, is situated opposite the Kensington Gardens, close to the ever popular delights of Hyde Park, and is a short walk from the Notting Hill and Queensway underground stations. The hotel’s refurbishment has created a spacious 24-hour fitness centre, as well as 12 new guest rooms on the first floor, taking the total number of guest rooms to 228.
In September 2013, the hotel will launch a standalone restaurant with an emphasis on ‘farm to fork’ dishes using fresh seasonal ingredients. The restaurant will be an all-day dining restaurant with a bakery for eat-in or take-away dining. Local residents and tourists will enjoy daily, freshly prepared dishes in a casual atmosphere, with seating available on an outside terrace overlooking Hyde Park
DoubleTree by Hilton London – Ealing
Located only a few minutes’ walk from London Ealing underground and overground station, the 189-room DoubleTree by Hilton London – Ealing offers spacious in-room work areas as well as tech-friendly stations in the hotel’s public spaces, which also provide a relaxed setting for informal meetings. The bar and lounge area features seating with built in power outlets, ideal for convenient laptop use. The restaurant, W5 Grill & Bar, specialises in dishes using locally sourced ingredients, and allows guests to unwind in a warm and contemporary dining room.
The new DoubleTree by Hilton branding has introduced the added rewards of the Hilton HHonors guest loyalty programme and the signature welcome of the legendary DoubleTree by Hilton chocolate chip cookie. The upscale, full-service hotel brand has seen remarkable growth since its European introduction in the spring of 2008, with DoubleTree by Hilton hotels now open in eleven countries across Europe.
