Z Hotels opens its third property with the launch of Z Liverpool on 15 April. This opening marks the first time that the hotel group has expanded to a city centre location outside of London and Z Liverpool is well placed to deliver affordable stylish accommodation which caters to the needs of today’s traveller.
Located in the heart of the city, on the corner of North John Street and Dale Street, Z Liverpool is within easy walking distance of highlight attractions such as Liverpool ONE shopping quarter and the Museum of Liverpool. A designer conversion of a modern office four-storey building, the hotel’s 92 bedrooms will span across the top three floors offering stunning cityscape views over the neighbouring financial district and beyond.

With room rates starting at just £40 + VAT, Z Liverpool will adhere to the Z Hotels ethos of providing the quintessential ‘urbanite stay’ experience: short stay accommodation offering the highest levels of quality and comfort, at an affordable price and all in city centre locations. All rooms feature the latest 40” Samsung LED High Definition TVs with Sky Sports and Sky Movies available at no extra cost, power showers, bespoke hand-crafted beds, docking stations compatible with all mobile and laptop devices, and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.
For guests and non-residents the Z Café, located on the ground floor, will serve delicious coffee to kick start the day, along with fresh breads and light snacks.

Bev King
Prior to founding Z Hotels, Bev King held key management positions in the industry including that of chief operating officer of the Thistle Hotel Group where he was responsible for generating revenues in excess of £300m per annum and managed a total workforce of 5,000 employees. Bev also possesses experience in hotel development programmes, including the supervision of a £100m refurbishment of the Cumberland Hotel during his position of general manager at the property.
As a member of the Business Premises Renovation Allowance (BRPA), Bev has utilised a BPRA tax relief scheme when building Z Hotels Liverpool that encourages entrepreneurs to convert or refurbish empty business premises in designated areas with the aim of attracting business to the area. The scheme has been developed in cities that need inward investment or areas that require regeneration. Bev is also planning additional projects in designated BRPA locations in major cities in Scotland, Wales and England.
