Relais & Châteaux Dîner des Grands Chefs
The dinner involves 45 Relais & Châteaux Grands Chefs, working in teams of three, pooling their culinary talent and expertise to create 15 unique five-course menus from one list of British ingredients for 600 guests.
Top chefs from around the world – including Raymond Blanc, Andrew Fairlie and Claude Bosi – cooked for the guests who were served Nespresso Hawaii Kona Special Reserve as part of their dining experience.
The coffee cherries that make the Nespresso Hawaii Kona Special Reserve are handpicked from the steep and rugged lava landscape, Kona Typica, located on the southernmost island of the remote Hawaiian archipelago. This limited edition blend is one of the world’s most sought after coffees due to its exquisite taste, unique microclimate and physical scarcity (the region only produces 40,000 bags per year).
As well as being a celebration of culinary excellence, the Dîner des Grands Chefs also has an important philanthropic mission: this year proceeds raised from ticket sales, as well as live and silent auctions, will be donated to Action Against Hunger AFC International, the humanitarian organisation committed to ending child malnutrition.
