Amadeus has announced its event arm of the business will continue as the catering provider at the award-winning Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open, which forms part of the European Golf Tour.
The new contract is for five years, and is worth £2.5 million to Amadeus – who have been working on the event since 1999. The win is particularly significant for the Amadeus team because of the long standing relationship they have built with the organisers over the last 15 years.
The Scottish Open contract means that Amadeus will operate all catering outlets for visitors and players during the four day tournament, as well as providing all the corporate hospitality.

This year’s event will return to Castle Stuart Golf Links, Inverness for the third successive year from July 11-14, 2013. In 2014 Royal Aberdeen Golf Club will stage an event for the first time from July 10-13 over the classic Balgownie links.
